Verified Reviewer | Seattle, WashingtonSurefresh 80 sq. ft. Plastic Wrap made by Glad
Your budget $Tree plastic wrap is a great product for the price, except for its package! That is the roll more often than not wraps itself back round itself on the roll after tearing off a piece until the next chunk is needed.
Then we often have to remove the roll from the box to find the wraps trailing edge in order to start the next piece without having it tear at the ends of the paper roll making a bird's nest of what's left!
A simple solution I found is to put an inch long 1/2" wide piece of Scotch Tape doubled back onto itself (so now only 1/2" long in the middle of the box face half way between the metal ridge cutting teeth & the box's bottom edge --- so when the top flap is lifted up to tear off the next piece out of the box, the tape grabs the upcoming next piece beginning edge so that it does NOT snap back & tangle up on the roll from static cling.
It's often the small things that makes LIFE so much more enjoyable!
Glad could attach or include a small chunk of double-backed tape or a sticky adhesive pad to make your product perfect. This problem is such a hassle I was thinking of switching brands!

Don’t buy the new press and seal glad wrap. This stuff doesn’t work at all. It only sticks to itself. What a waist of plastic. What happened to the old saran wrap?

The new silver and black Glad Kitchen bags leak even the smallest amount of liquid. There is no leak protection. They also leak kitty litter because they tear very easily.
